He can be quite talkative and flirty with other female colleagues, but he seems to act abit uptight towards me which makes me feel like a weirdo. He can be shy at times because when i talk to someone near him, he will immediately mellow or mumble something else to the person he is talking to.
He is a fun-loving guy. Thus, how do i know if he is interested in me too? I know this question is flooding the whole yahoo! Q&A , but can anyone pls advise?

no body know whether he is interested in you or not, but you could make the different to attracts his attention toward you !
first, if he is at the same department with you then it make the task easier, get his assistant to tackle those job related problem, it can be your pc is not working n wanted him to trouble-shoot for you or you may required some info about certain issue that he might be having/possess, some facts or data's that you needed to complete a report that he might be in charged of ! Talk to him just like a colleague n this type of cooperation/working together between the both of you may lead to some thing[relationship] you wanted it to happen later on.
if he doesn't belong to the same department like you, try joining those activities that he is involved with, it can be group outing, having lunch/tea together or chill-out after office hour. Try to know him more hence you can use those info to your advantages such as if you know his favorite movie then get him to join you for that movie[may be tagging along a friend/colleague the first few times], there are so many opportunities around you so just try to uses you imagination but never too rush n scare him off !

Im a HUGE flirt, except for the women i realy like ( wierd i know) or the ones i want nothing to do with.....with those beeing the two ends of the spectrum; i think you know where you fall. ( that is if he is a wierdo like me)

Girl, u just have 2 be urself. Slow and steady wins the race. Therefore, you mustn't rush him. If he likes you, he would come 2 u. JUST BE URSELF!!!
