when, in your opinion, are people ready to settle down?

It tends to be once they are secure in themselves. People can also want to do this because they are NOT secure. If that makes sense....Men tend to be the first option (waiting tl they're secure in themselves) and women tend to be the latter. In case you're wondering I am a woman, ready to settle down because I want stability (I'm only 21 but I know what I want). It also depends on the maturity of th individual, I would imagine.

I want to settle down, but still enjoy freedom at the same time so if it involves free space and settling down im happy. When i mean freedom I mean staying loyal but just going out once in a while. As for chasing I don't like it.

but hey people eventually DO wanna settle down in life..it could be when you find the right person and ur sure about it, or it could be once someone has finally finished climbing the ladder or whatever and is ready to settle down and begin a family, or it could be wen one feels its the right age( which varies with every culture by the way) or it could be wen your parents decide its time!!! (which suxxx)
think about it..do u really want to keep playing games for the rest of your life?dont you want to experience "marriage" and "kids"..and all the joys it brings you(or so they say)...actually im single too so i dont really know..but what i do know is that someday i will settle down too...and i really wish that it could be with the one i love...and wen i WANT to..and not wen i HAVE to....

I would say that people are most likely ready to settle down whenever they figured out what they really want in life.

some do & some don't. I know people that have not & don't want to ever settle down. I didn't think I would either but I did. It just depends on you. Take care

Every one has the dream and hope it all goes all the fairy-tale way.
Kids that think they are in love before being adult to know what they are talking about and dis-regard parents advise.
Adults that think they must get some-one to end their days with,because they don`t want to die alone.
Many more reason that are wrong too.
The chase is as always exciting and when the capture is done,they realise the person is not who or nice as they thought.
Both male and female are guilty of this.

I think most guys will keep chasing until atleast 25. I have notice that guys, especially 20, 21, 22 are all about being single and having thier freedom.
