check if they are in the add/remove. if not download windows defender. go to tools and software explorer. search if it is there. if not just search for files and folders with aol and norton on it and delete it. i reccommend you to download ccleaner and clear out the registry and other stuff as the program might leave behind traces.

You will never be completely free of either, but especially AOL, unless you re-format your hard drive entirely and reload your individual programs. Hopefully you have all of your disks. But AOL will always remain - so you can never even go to aol.com without them dropping something on you. Even the Add/Remove program can't help, nor can running a search just to see. You can't totally get rid of any program though - even deleting stuff really just moves them to the side. There is special software for completely erasing your HD, making it totally blank - then starting over fresh! I'd reformat.

By the way, add/remove shows the AOL (Un)Installer only, as well as other AOl things you may have like the connectivity service, or YGP, or the "Coach"

Norton should be listed as Symantec in the Add/Remove. There could be other entries for them such as Live Update.

You could also try doing a search on your computer for Symantec as well as AOHell to find where each application is.

If you go into add/remove programmes they should be there. Bit weird if they arent.

you will find them in the applications folder on your hard drive, or hover your mouse over the icon and it will tell you where they are, then go to appropriate place and delete
