Okay so when we die, ive been told that out spirit (which is basically us, we go out of our body) pass over to the other world...
so basically we are still here but nobody can see us, unless they try to contact us or wateva. And aparently we see a light when we die and we can either go to the light or not. If we dont we stay here. If we do we go to heaven or wateva?
Aparantly spirits dont always go to the light at first cos they have unfinished business.

Do Kabbalists believe in all this?

I am unsure about the Kabbalists beliefs in this sorry
but as a spiritualist medium i have to say that i disagree with the theory that some dont go to the light or that they have unfinished buisness
what people get confused with is ghosts ... they are not spirit , they are simply energy that has remained
when we die we are met by spirit , we would have no reason or want to cling to this life in my opinion xx

Its a kind of pantheistic religion with the ancient practice of getting to know God intellectually by a process of gaining secret knowledge from others who have discovered it from their spiritual fathers and so on, traceable back to ancient Egyptian/Sumerian/Persian, or whatever, mystical teachings. Though it is usually associated with occultist tendencies practised in various colours and degrees of intensity by adherents such as Freemasons and the Illumanitii etc.
This is somewhat of an over simplification but most intellectuals find the rituals and ideology of adherents like Kabbalists more suitable to their taste for intrigue and spiritual games - a negotiation with God on hedonistic terms rather than on His terms of sacrifice and obedience as laid down by the shedding of His own blood on the cross. Most of the Kabal people I have spoken to regard Christ as just another 'teacher' in the wider pantheistic pecking order of 'prophets' and 'sages' and it is they mostly who set the agenda for our school curriculums.
I stray off topic. Do they believe in spirits? Yes they do, but I would question from which quarter these spirits come.

Yes they do, but not in the sense that spirits can be called up at will.
