DO YOU love righteousness? Do you hate divisions, fights, hostilities and bloodshed? Does it distress you to see some people acting as if they were superior to those of a different religion, race social class, age or sex? Would you like to see all humans living together in unity, like brothers and sisters?
While people suffer and social problems go unsolved, many politicians struggle with each other for wealth and power. While millions are starving, governments spend huge amounts of money on weapons. Meantime, the economy of most countries gets worse and worse, and people fear for the future.
The truth is, we are living in the most critical time in human history, and thoughtful people recognize this fact. You most likely agree.
In many parts of the world people have their religion registered on their identity cards. But how many are really concerned about whether they meet the requirements of their religion? Even more important, how many people feel the need to investigate whether their religion, which they might not have personally chosen, is really pleasing to God?
Why should we think about God and religion? Why should we talk about a subject that many people do not like to discuss, namely, whether the various religions of mankind are right or wrong? Well, do we not live in a time in which people more than ever need God? Can we not see that world events are developing toward a climax? Do we not feel that the world’s problems are getting out of hand? God’s Word explains world events and shows us that salvation of humans depends on our having a good relationship with God. In other words, it depends on whether someone has really submitted to God. Now is the time for all people to submit to God.

I think we are living in the last few days of the end of a lot of people's worlds.
Every day the big churches recruit more and more people, which is the end of their lives, well their lives anyway. You see, when you join a Cult such as christianity or Catholicism, just like any other cult, you give up your real self and become a sheep, a product of brainwashing, therefore your world is ended.
Thank you.

Not the end of the world, but maybe the end of the world as we know it.
We are living in a paradigm which utilises only a tiny portion of our potential, and every day more and more people are awakening to a higher consciosness. Once critical mass is reached, then our entire belief systems will change, and everything will change with them, making the world of today as unrecognisable as the world of 1000 years ago.
So, the world as we know it will have ended.

The Mayans predicted the world would end on December 21st of 2012 thousands of years ago. Because of their advanced, almost mystical approach to astronomy many are inclined to believe them. Personally, I think that the world could end at any second. We are floating on a small rock very fast around a gigantic fireball, after all. At any moment another rock could smash into us and destroy life on this planet. For instance in 1989 the 4581 Asclepius asteroid came only a few narrow hours (400,000 miles) from crashing into the earth and destroying life on this planet, and what's worse is that we didn't even detect the asteroid until the threat had already passed. The world could end tomorrow, or it could end four thousand years from now, it's impossible to know for sure.

Wasn't it Jesus who said that we wouldn't know the time but the season ? Weren't there a lot of things stated that would come to pass before he would return ? Wars and rumors of wars. Earthquakes would be on the rise.
Yes, I do believe that we are living in the end times. I kinda feel like the t-shirt that I read. Something about God owing '' Sodom and Gomorrah an apology'' for destroying their cities and doing nothing now.

No. We have more ways of destroying ourselves now than we ever have. But I don't think it's related in any way to some scary story written a long time a ago with the explicit aim of frightening the life out of people.
Religion eh, terrifying. Consider it and then reject it, that's what I did. The opium of the masses.

How long is the time period of 'the last days'. One year, 10, 1000?
None of us know, we don't even know if there are ANY last days.
There has not been a generation that didn't think theirs is the last of days. Our generation is no different.
I don't think you or I would be alive to see the end of the world.
