My opinion is because all the sophisticated weapon testing, I think they dont want any other country to know or see what kind of weapons we have so they can duplicate them.. and thats why they not letting anyone know. What do you think?

I agree with you buddy, which nation wants another nation to know their secret weapon or secret research?
Maybe area 51 is developing some type of weapon or technology which will secure the position of world leader. It has been awhile since America has reserved their seat as the World leader and the world has accepted this bcs America has always been a good and efficient leader....
Regarding keeping it as a secret i find it very important bcs if not its technology can be visible to enemy.....I mean Everyone has secret, it is a secret bcs it is not meant to be known by others...
We must realize tht sometimes secret kept by a nation is always attached to a purpose, some says tht they are keeping alien specimen there, if they really are and disclose tht info to the world, maybe we are not ready to accept it bcs there is one thing abt humans tht cannot be controlled and tht is our PANIC nature... If there is actually alien who visited earth, it would be really hard to sleep at night bcs anyone could be the victim.

its not just being kept a secret from other countries, but have remained "super top top secret" from our leaders and citizens. I believe there's something much more sinister and advanced than just weapons being hidden from view. i was stationed at edwards AFB,just west of groom lake almost fifteen years ago and my friends and i saw some really weird stuff . we took pictures and all film was confiscated while we were on duty. after that pretty much nobody wanted to even talk about what goes on out there.

i think its all based on the fear that our government lies to us. area 51 surfaced sometime about the start of the cold war -- a completely fictitious event that was centered around the evils of communism that wasn't even evil - especially when compared to what our government does today. if our government didn't lie then there would be no need for conspiracy theories. so because they exist it give creedence to the idea people don't trust our government to tell the truth.
