Since I email her saying that I really like her, telling her as honestly as possible all my feeling towards her (and she said that she just wanted to be friends), I noticed that she became more quiet and seemed to be shy in front of me. However, very recently, I felt that she was actually trying to protect me whenever she could. What's happening

My friend the fact that she was protecting you, doesn't exactly mean that she wants to be more than friends.Maybe she protects you, because like any real friend, she cares about you, and loves you...as a friend. You did right in expressing how you feel, but there's always a catch...not because you were brave and did it, means that she feels the same. Try not to push things too fast, because then she'd probably feel uncomfortable, 'cause I'm sure that the least thing she wants to do, is hurt you. Be her friend, and love her for that, maybe someday she'll love you the same back. Good Luck!

I'm like that, when somebody likes me I get shy although I don't like them, because then I know the spotlight is on me… It’s nice in a way… But in a way its not… The quiet phase is just that she maybe scared to give you a go ahead with you feelings and the protection phase maybe she decided that she likes you or maybe she just have a soft place in her heart for you. The best thing you can do is to keep it cool and become her best friend and most important BE YOURSELF ALL THE TIME. Be open minded about he situation, sometime if you really want something your head can play games with you so take it a day at a time. Good Luck and look around for more than 1 opportunity because maybe you are not meant to be. Enjoy your life.

maybe she felt awkward that you told her low you felt. and now that she's rejected you she feels guilty. so now she's trying to protect you. but you should probably just talk to her. the best way is to ask fher what's up with the way she's acting now. hope she'll be honest. i'm rooting for you...

shes totally falling for you. bt coz she already sed she only wants to be friends, shes gonna find it hard to admit to u that she now likes u more than that. she prob shy now. but actions speak louder than words:)

maybe she not ready for a realtionship and you just runied a friendship.. why not email her and say you like to meet up, if not she prolly scare of your moves.. you should of started slow?
