The short answer is that womens thinking is based much more in their feeling and emotions than men. Men tend to be more skeptical because skepticism is a better survival tool than emotion,in other words it's a trait that's been necessary in the male for thousands of years and not so easily taken away.

I think that women are just as sceptical, but they tend to be more forgiving. It depends on each person and how our past experiences brought us to where we are now. In relationships, I am sceptical with men when they tell me things at first. I don't believe everything they say until I get to know them. I have been lied to so many times, cheated on. It is a life experience thing that has brought on the reason to be sceptical.
I am very sceptical about anyone who tries to sell me anything, or anyone who tries to sell me on a certain product. "A sure thing". There are so many scam artist out there. I see so many people loose their money because of that. I guess common sense is a factor with me.

Because women use up all their skepticism trying to believe their man's claims of fidelity and undying love.

woman due to natural bonds with children etc are naturally more intuitive .. therefore naturally less skeptical of the " unseen forces " in life
this isnt a bashing for men though ... we play different but equally as important roles in life xx

i don't know but i always see women who claim ufo sightings, ghosts, and things like daja vu. maybe they are just nuts. or maybe they are more in tune with the spiritual side of life.
speaking of which why do most people who see a ghost when they are lying in bed go back to sleep and don't get freaked out until they wake up the next morning?

I'm not sure your statement is true. I'm skeptical of your generalization.

After a few centuries of living with women we have learned that there is a good reason to be sceptical about women. But don't worry, there are still a few guys out there you can con. you just have to look harder than before.

most men tend to only believe what's right in front of them.
they are more concrete thinkers. while women tend to think in abstract terms, so it is easier for them to believe in things.
