stress, you can't live with it, but you could definitely live without it! but in todays times stress is a common part of everyday life, just count how many times a day you get wound up, this could be from missing the bus or losing your pen. You'll be surprised at the amount of things that can stress you. Add all these things together and well were all very stressed out people. But if you can reduce the number of things that stress you or turn them around into positives, then youre on to a winner.

Stress is actually a good thing. it only becomes negative when we are unable to handle it and then it is called distress. Symptoms of what you mean include panicking about not getting your life organised and not getting things done in time. You need to organise your time and prioritise if it affects you. Not being able to cope under pressure. You will panic, show poor performance, possibly be a bad timekeeper, develop poor communication skills as it will affect your personality, make you upset and unhappy, you may feel everything is too much for you and you have no support. You may lose your focus on situations and blow them out of proportion.it may affect your physical health by sweating, fast heart rate, palpitations, high blood pressure but not in everyone.

Anxiety symptoms fall into three categories: physiological, cognitive and emotional. Count the following symptoms that apply to you:
Physiological symptoms
Do you feel:
Weak all over?
Rapid, pounding heartbeat or palpitations?
Tightness around your chest?
Hyperventilation (a feeling that you cannot get enough air)?
Periodic dizziness and sweating?
Muscle tension, aches or tremors?
Chronic fatigue?
Cognitive symptoms
Do you think to yourself:
I can’t carry on. I’ve got to get out of here.
What if I make a fool of myself?
People are looking at me all the time.
I’m having a heart attack.
I’m going to faint.
I’m going crazy.
I can’t go on alone; no one will help me.
I can’t go out; I will lose control.
I feel confused and can’t remember things.
Emotional symptoms
Do you think to yourself:
I’m full of fears that I can’t get out of my mind.
I feel like something terrible is going to happen.
I worry excessively.
I feel uneasy and alone a lot of the time.
I often feel isolated, lonely, down in the dumps and depressed.
I feel I have no control over what happens to me.
I feel embarrassed, rejected and criticized.
I often feel like screaming with anger.

All the things that other respondents have listed, plus your immune system won't work so well & you'll be constantly suffering low level symptoms of all sorts of illnesses. For example flu-like symptoms that stay with you for months.
