Just a small, peace offereing gift that's not expensive...
..Just from an argument that shouldn't have happened and things were said that shouldn't have been said...

Just a card to say you are sorry You can get I'm sorry cards now days men don't want much more if you want to pick a rose from a garden that will mean a lot more than you think, go for it and you will be surprise I was going to say good luck but you wont need it, if you do what I say.

How about taking him out for a meal and making him feel special. Show you are sorry and apologise for whatever you've done. Discuss it so you get everything out in the open and sorted between you. Don't go overboard on a gift as you need to be sincere rather than spending money on him.

You don't say if you both are romantically involved!
If you are both 'together' then a good 'session' and a massage with warm Baby Oil should be enough - if yer not confident then ye can come 'round to mine and practice! LOL!
If yeez are just colleagues then bring in a nice cake at coffee time - and a hug! You body-language and actually saying the words 'I'm sorry!' is important.

I have to say that I like the idea of a card with a personal note inside. Maybe a home cooked meal would be the perfect accompaniment with some wine?
My girlfriend does this regularly and it always means a lot to me.

I've always wanted a girl to give me something she baked or made (food-wise). Especially effective if it's an afrodesiac, like a chocolate cake.
I gave my girlfriend a pumpkin pie for an "I'm sorry" gift once (she loved pumpkins)... Best gift I've ever given or received.

you can be the gift and do what he likes like you tell him you would like to meet up, and later give him a hug and a kiss if you like and say you are sorry. and later ask him what he like to do for the time you being together, and you will make him happy, since you gone all the effort to make him show how sorry you are!

Buy him a small teddy and write a little "I am sorry" note and stick it on the bear. Works everytime!!! Or send him flowers to work (you can send a plant if you prefer)

I think a sincere "I'm sorry" should do it. You shouldn't have to spend any money to apologize. But, if you insist...how about a nice card with some thoughtful words.

Write him a card with a note in it. Normally its more or less the thought that counts than the object.
