B&Q is a British retailer of DIY and home improvement tools and supplies. It was founded in 1969 and as of 2004 is the largest DIY retailer in Europe and the third largest in the world.

B and Q is one of the UK's largest retail DIY chains. They're pretty good though generally I prefer Wickes. I believe it stands for Block and Quail (not sure about the spelling)

B & Q stands for Block and Quail I believe. My mother in law works for them. They're a massive chain of DIY (thats do-it-yourself) stores across the UK. When you walk around them, they smell of wood and creosote which I think is a rather yummy combo.

I don't know of the relationship,but yesterday,whilst walking in High Wycombe,a man asked me if there was a b and q in Wycombe and I said I didn't think so but there are 3 'l's in Walsall.
