were they actually in the bible at the time of christ's birth, and if so, why are they not in the nativity?

sure, you guys flocked to my other question, this one is real, sincere and requires an answer instead of just trite condemnation, and where are you?

I don't know of the Christmas carol you're talking about, and I doubt anyone else has either, which is probably why you're not getting answers. I'm not trying to be rude, just explaining. I checked for those names in the stories of Christ's birth in the Bible & did not find either of those names anywhere. Perhaps it is akin to "The Little Drummer Boy," a fanciful Christmas carol. :)

I know that song well and most people do when it's sung in English or when it's an instrumental. I doubt they were actually in the bible because it's just an old French song, not necessarily a Christmas carol even though it became one. But, I guess only a real Christian would know the answer.

I think you've gone too far with your research that's why it ends up like that. The core of Christmas is the birth of Jesus from Virgin Mary. The two girls you've mentioned maybe one of your close relatives.
