You can't play God because you might call more pedophiles or gay men to the priesthood. They already have enough.

In life there will be times in which you will not be able to pray. And times when the holy spirit will have to carry you in prayer. He is our helper afterall. Yes God sometimes sets back and puts it on crust control. That is when he is molding you and teaching you to be trusting. It is easy to follow God when everything is great. But when all hell is breaking loose. Trust is a little harder. But God never takes a passive role you may take a passive role. Really If you will develope a person relationship with father GOD you will fine he is not far away every. Even as I am typing this I sence his spirit over my sholder. Yes he is ever watchful, ever mindful. A example of that last night at about 2 am i got up and got dressed and strated driving found a young man in a park some 4 miles away and he needed a word from God. Poor young man was in a wheelchair he had been in a car wreak and had crippled and now three years latter life has got him down a bit. So he was sitting here in a wheelchair thinking about putting a end to it all. Do you think i was there by mistake. No it was GOD sending a answer to a spoken or a unspoken prayer. God is ever minful. This is not the first time he has given me the privilidge of talking to a person thinking about checking out. Why me, I do not know I just try to be his friend. This is mans all to become Gods Friend. Have you ever wondered if God feels, you know he does. I can at times feel his suffering and his pain. You know God has a heart just like you and I. You can play God the results are costly. I did that once it cost me so very much. I think for now i will just follow him.

God fries fish? Tough decisions? I would go with a beer batter and tartar sauce in that case. Playing God might be over rated but a well fried fish is a good friday supper.

Can They Create a Fly?

73. O people, here is a parable that you must ponder carefully: the idols you set up beside GOD can never create a fly, even if they banded together to do so. Furthermore, if the fly steals anything from them, they cannot recover it; weak is the pursuer and the pursued.

74. They do not value GOD as He should be valued. GOD is the Most Powerful, the Almighty.

75. GOD chooses from among the angels messengers, as well as from among the people. GOD is Hearer, Seer.

76. He knows their past and their future. To GOD belongs the ultimate control of all matters.

77. O you who believe, you shall bow, prostrate, worship your Lord, and work righteousness, that you may succeed.

Greatness of God*

[39:67] They can never fathom the greatness of GOD. The whole earth is within His fist on the Day of Resurrection. In fact, the universes are folded within His right hand. Be He glorified; He is much too high above needing any partners.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*39:67 Our universe, with its billion galaxies, a billion trillion stars, uncountable decillions of heavenly bodies, spanning many billions of light-years, is the smallest and innermost of seven universes. This incomprehensible vastness of the seven universes is within God's hand. Such is the greatness of God. See Appendix 6.

Things are not going to work out in the long run doing your will. You're better off doing God's will.
