Though it hurts, I broke up wd him bcz havng a gf is his last priority. He told it to me himself. But he cud let me go as hs gf but not as a frnd cz I was hs only bestfrnd.
So bcz I cnt let go, I decided to give this friendship thing a try. For a while, it worked. We shared stories of our succeeding relationshps which neither lasted long. Sometimes, we still went to gatherings together, joked together and laugh together. Whn he cried for his brokenheart, I was d one he called.
What I stl felt for hm was nvr a secret to hm. But he continued to blurt out hs love problems to me & I continued to listen though it hurts a lot.
He still made effortsto surprise me at my birthdays & he still invites me whnver hs family is havng a get-together.
My friends told me we're jst fooling ourselves cz he stl loves me bt I cn feel he doesnt & I knew hm well.
Does it mean I'm just a special girl for him because of our past or do you really think he still loves me?

It means he is just using you. that crap he told you is just an excuse. You watch, if his new relationship doesn't work out and he is alone again, he will all the sudden want to be with you. Its call buying insurance (or you giving him time off so he can buff other chicks)!! Either way, you will be there to cater his needs.
You might think I'm a a55hole for saying this, give it time and find out for yourself!!

Of course he still loves you! Try and find out why having a girlfriend was such a low priority for him. He obviously has a lot of feelings for you, and he shouldn't let his head get in the way of his heart.

Why don't you just come out and ask him what his feeling are for you?
that way you will know for sure one way or other. Otherwise you will never know. Go and talk to him and that way you will have peace of mind
who know you just may be surprised at how things turn out

if he doesnt appreciate u n if he's taking u for granted.........just an outlet or a listening ear for his problems, then u should do what's best for urself.
go out. meet people.

you have a history with him he feels comfortable with u.He may love you, but not be in love with u. there's a big difference.
