While it is probably because you have given her a reason not to trust you, it could be because the man before you did this. I know I sometimes worry about whether or not my guy is being honest with me, but then I realize he has not given me a reason not to trust him and it is only my insecurities from the last guy that I'm thinking that.
So, it really may not be you but someone else who has caused her to think this way. Trust is actually earned. Don't give her any reason to distrust you and she will come around.

Obviously you've done something to make her not trust you. If she hasn't always checked your cell phone, then you've done something to prompt her so called "insecurity" and "checking". I'm sure it makes you feel better to think she's doing this out of insecurity, but really she's doing it because she doesn't trust you. So therefore the only person that can answer your question is you. What did YOU do??

I dont know about all women, but the woman whom you are hinting at may have reasons to feel insecure, either by you, or by something in the past.

Combination of several people's answers. I do this to my b/f as well.
1) She is unsure of your love for her, therefore, she has doubt
2) She has been hurt in past relationships and although it was not you who did it, she still has a hard time trusting men.
3) You did something to make her doubt you. Maybe not cheated but something....you did something. Whether it be talking to a female co-worker, having "girl" friends that you talk to or are just a flirt in general..you may not think you are but women may think you are and take your niceness to mean something else.
Oh wait, I am describing my boyfriend. Your not my boyfriend are you? hee hee, no he is up in bed!

well i know why i feel like i need to is because i have been messed about soo many times it's hard to trust anyone anymore no matter how much i want too it's a really hard thing too do and it could make the woman feel better to know she's wrong and not right if your not doing anything

it's not insecurity..it's curiosity..no matter how much you trust and love someone, once you get curious, you cant get past that.

As a woman I shouldn't say this, but she does it coz' she loves you so much. In other words, keep her doing it. So she will be always desperate in love with you.
