Yes. We had a customer who bought a south-african sports car (can't remember the name right now). It is imported as a chassis and a company in the US outfits it with a Duratec 3.0L DOHC and twin turbos. I think it puts out south of 1000 bhp but further modifications are available. I am sure Ford Racing is putting out 1000 bhp+ in their taurus / fusion race cars.
