First you must find out if your house is infested with fleas. A simple flea trap that you can make at home is to get a bowl of water and mix in some dishwashing soap. At night shine a flashlight onto the bowl of water and in the morning see if any fleas have jumped in. The light attracts the fleas the soap and water drowns them. Once you determine whether you need to exterminate wash everything you have in hot water.

As far as things you can do to prevent flea bites. You can try lemon peels boiled in water and applied when cooled or you can try lavender oil mixed with some water. These are natural repellants. To relieve the itch a Benadryl works. Topical lotions like maximum strength Hydrocortisone and calamine lotion work too.

No, vacuuming and brushing won't preclude fleas. have faith me, i attempted for years. it is going to save them down some yet on no account do away with them. the stable information is that the fleas won't harm you. Yucky, confident, and a few human beings get irritations from flea bites as you do from many insect bites, yet they don't look to be risky to human beings and that they plenty want the cat to you. There in many circumstances must be a extraordinarily intense infestation formerly they start up biting human beings. it particularly is stable to maintain combing, for the reason that fleas can suck a great variety of blood out of a tiny kitten and weaken it. the different stable information is that as quickly as this kitten is the right age for topical flea treaments from the vet including benefit, the fleas would be killed very presently after commencing the scientific care and with a sprint success you will on no account see yet another. Bathing an animal with fleas has very minimum income using fact it is going to easily do away with fleas that are on the animal at that element, and one among those youthful kitten could desire to extremely get chilled if it gets moist.

Normally fleas will not get on us for one reason. We don't have the kind of oil in our hair they like. However; if you go into an empty apartment where pets have been and it is infested with fleas they will jump on your ankles, socks, and what ever you are wearing. I had to get orgin out at one time as my yard was infested also. He also sprayed the next door also. He also said that this is the type solution that will keep those "monster roaches" away. In Florida they call them the "palmettol" roach. Have not seen a flea in years, nolr the giant flying roaches.

You will have to either buy something or hire a terminater to remove the fleas(kill them) YU can try bug sparay but I don' think it will work.
Yuo need to hire a pest company, and wash all of your clothes with hot water and dry them all. bed clothes and all preferable in a ciommercial laundry. YOu'll have ot clean your car good too.
