When a woman gets a cold she can still hold her own, and look after the children, cook the dinner, buy the shopping, clean the house, and still go to work....she wins hands down on every level when she is feeling under the weather.......but here's the thing right.....when a guy has a cold, he behaves like he's dying, he needs a soother, or even the nurse......why is that?.....why do guys turn into little children who need their foreheads rubbed, and looking after when they have the slightest sniffle........do they like playing this card for attention or what?...........

I, for one, am not that way but do know exactly what you are talking about. I have known powerful men in business who either own or control large corporations that when they have a cold or slight illness act as if they are dying. Who can say why this is. Not enough mothering at a young age? A need to feel that they are taken care of in their time of need? Who knows. The main thing is that if they are a good person, a good mate, and you care about them, indulge them for a few days when they get a cold. IF it bothers you, make sure you give them lots of vitamin C during the year and keep Zicam on hand to lessen the severity and duration of the cold.

Because men are and always will be big daft kids! And weather they admit it or not, they loved the attention the Mommy used to give when they were sick, so hope they can get that from you! Plus, there pain levels are far lower than women's.
There is a saying that goes : If men could also have babies, and the woman had the 1st and 3rd baby, and the man the 2nd and 4th baby, there would always be a 3rd baby, but NEVER a 4th.

Haha! I know exactly what you mean! Not all guys are like that, but most of them are! I too feel that they want momma's attention, and as their girlfriend, you're their substitute momma.
I also noticed an odd phenomenon - when they're sick, they're strong in front of everyone else...except their girlfriend/wife! That alone should be enough to explain a lot. I think it's quite adorable actually...until it gets selfish and out of proportion (like one ex I had who made me take time off my job at the last minute to tend to him when it turned out to be only a very slight fever that went away in a couple of hours).
Many guys spend so much of their time trying to appear strong that when they fall ill, it's FINALLY their chance to get all the attention and pampering and soothing. And they often don't hide the fact that that's what they want!
It's no big deal, as long as they're not babies all year round.

I guess that's because care and attention is all they see from us, and they expect to get a big share of it when they're sick. While we on the other hand are used to taking care of ourselves even if we're sick, and we also do not expect men to provide care when we do not feel well, because they simply don't know how to do that. Not all men are like that of course but the majority are, including my husband.
We are the attention providers and we are expected to provide care and attention, while, on the other hand, they are not expected to do so.

God created woman with higher intelligence than men (this is my opinion). Men are maybe physically hunk but the truth is they are a soft cuddly bear looking always for attention and affection that us ladies 101% can give.

There is nothing better in the world than a good woman, espcially if she can take care of her man. Although I never get sick, so when I do its hospital time.

They are just wimps. Remember they don't need a high tolerance to pain in order to have children, so God didn't give them one.
