I have really long hair and I like it long but it is really heavy. Is there a hairstyle to make it lighter?

Tie it up around a helium filled balloon any shape of your choice.

Find a good stylist who can give you layers - it will give your hair good shape and lighten the weight without sacrificing length. I myself have hair down to my waist but have lots of layers that are very well cut so it has a nice general effect that is neither too wispy nor do the layers flip out.

Find someone who can cut it with a straight edge razor. You can find someone by calling around to different salons. If you get it cut into layers they can lighten it up a lot. A razor cut is soo much different than just layering. It made my hair so light.

Try the shaggy hairstyle, it is much better than having your hair undercut, well that is if you want to really feel light, have your hair the undercut style :)

I believe it's called 'lighter fluid', but that tends to make it really really short!
