12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

He isnt a creation... if you are reffering to "first born of every creation"... "firstborn" means to rule over.

As many have already so eloquently observed: Jesus is the First Born of Creation, the Beginning of God's Creation, the Source of God's Creation. All of these terms denote His pre-eminence over the Creation of God.

Now as to nothing coming from nothing.... Indeed, nothing that has a beginning comes from nothing. Everything that has a beginning must have a cause, because without cause it would not have a beginning.

Now if something (or Someone) did not have a beginning, it could not have a cause, because the cause would have to come before the thing, but that would be impossible since the thing did not have a beginning and always was in the past. Now it so happens that God does not have a beginning, so it logically follows that He does not have a creator or cause.

Everything, including God, has to have a beginning. Jehovah of the OT sinned against the true Father when he declared that he was the first and only God. The Father is first consciousness. Nothing existed before The Father, because there was nothing to be conscious of it.

The verses you quoted do not say God was created. Where are you getting that from? The Greek word for "firstborn" meant first in rank. It was a term that denoted preeminence. He is firstborn in that he possesses the highest position.

god is not gods son so what are you talking about. jesus was gods son and a baby is created so therefore the son of god was created. and good point kev on number four. but does that mean that all nonfiction is false since that was written by man?

If you believe that "nothing comes from nothing" or that "everything must have a creator" or "nothing as complicated as life could come into being without a creator" ----

Then, clearly, God must have had a creator. You can not get around it.

1 God is not real.

2 God is man made.

3 God is only in your head.

4 The bible was written by man, therefore means nothing.
