excellent idea...you might call it the abridged or purified version
or maybe the untainted version ...I'd like to see someone make some progress along those lines the world is almost ready for a contemporary version for a better way of life and a paradigm of virtuous living in the present day standard of advanced intellect.
peace out and bravo

There's a skeptics annotated bible, does that count?

There's also the Evil Bible, full of interesting viewpoints.

I'm not sure if that's what you had in mind, of if you mean a holy book filled with Atheist beliefs? That would be somewhat of a paradox.

Edit:
Okay...why in the hell did I get a thumbs down, this time? *eyeroll*

No, there is one Bible. Other books may call itself a Bible but there is only one.

Have you read the back of the cereal boxes? Those are fun, sometimes theres games too!

I'm just kidding, thats a family joke we tell my cousin since he "hates reading" and only eats cereal.

That would have to be Scientific American or something similiar. No sarcasm. Really atheism leaves only the material universe for ultimate reality. There is nothing else to invest your affections.

An idea of a belief that there is no higher power or spiritual world having a book that would describe a higher power or spiritual world strikes me as an improbability.

if atheists have all of the answers to life and death, why would they need a bible?
so my answer is no. however, if you are looking for answers to questions you have about life, or if you are looking for peace and joy in your life, the bible is your book! don't find religion, find Jesus, Himself, (big difference)
