My brother is an Asian and studying in university in the United States. For a few weeks, he has been experiencing some nausea and a few spells of dizziness. He's only 25 years old, and we're worried sick about him now. He says that he sleeps well, and has been eating well, too. He doesn't have much physical activity, though, because of the lack of time.
In addition to that, we're experiencing some financial problems with paying his tuition fees, and he has been thinking and worrying about that, too. He's 25 and all his friends have already graduated from college and university. He is holding a part-time security job, working in the late evenings at lonely, construction sites. I think this must be depressing him further.

But, do you know why he's having those nausea and dizzy spells?

Hunger can cause both nausea and dizziness; management: food.

Low red blood cells can cause dizziness; management: dark green leafy vegetables.

Low blood pressure may cause dizziness; management: drink plenty of fluids.

The construction site may be using materials that can cause nausea, dizziness; management: proper ventilation.

Hey

Sounds rough. Could be anything - there are a number of diseases which can cause it, but so will anxiety and not being physically fit.

If he's on campus is there a medical service he can go to - I know a lot of universities have free or low cost medical treatment - especially for people exhibiting those kinds of symptoms which probably aren't but *could* be symptom of something infectious such as meningitis.

It's very hard when someone's away from home and is suffering - the worst thing you can do though is get too worried yourself as your brother's obviously a sensitive soul and that willmake things worse.

well it could be several things, He could have blood pressure problems, becoming a diabetic, and maybe something else he needs to go and see a doctor to make sure what it is. I know that the pressure of having to work and go to school is hard but it should not be dong this. Good Luck

need blood pressUre check.if he anxious-hyperventilation- it may bring similar pic.also u should rule out alcoholism, drugs and gastritis in turn.u better speak with him..better see a doctor early..
if it anxiety induced,u may bring it back by asking him hyperventilate for couple minutes and see whether it brings the same!!!then u know what it is and deal with this.
