Your question is hard to answer. I would say the Jews had the most loss of life. But Jewish is not a "race". The Soviet Union had the most fatalities. But then again we're not talking "race". So if you want just "race", then I would have to say "Caucasian".

WW2 was a war between western powers, and also the Japs. Many Germans, Russians, Japanese, Americans, and the British. There were other nationalities. I think its Russia that lost the most men, the German Russian fronts were horrible places. Even though I live in East Asia, the Imperial Japanese Army was known to have massacred entire villages in China and the Koreas. Those numbers are not yet known, its often reffered to as the "forgotten holocaust". Peace to the world.

Wehrmarcht soldiers are not so much honored as they are memorialized. There is more emphasis on the tragedy of the lose of young lives, less so on the heroics of their actions or cause. Members of the SS are treated as war criminals and still hunted down by the German government if they had involvement in crimes against humanity.

The Axis did receive casualties but even if they were defeated their casualties is not even near that of the allies.Yeah true the 6 million Jews died but they are wrong.More Russians died.
