i want to find my spirit guide and ask for advice, but i havent really projected before. im assuming that my previous experience may be needed to determine how to get to my guide, so: i had a lucid dream once, the first and only remembered exit- which was a bad experience, and one dream where i met my teacher who claimed to be my spirit guide. he showed me a drawing that didnt make any sense.
anyway, can i just- i dont know, before i sleep- ask to see him? what has worked for you in the past?

I don't know about spirit guides, sure masters or teachers are indespensible, but it;s like the 21st century, some spiritual masters i know are are like rock stars and swhred bussinessmen, this mythic idea that people have of gurus and all....kinda ridiculous

It's possible to have a direct link to God, you can study gnostic texts if interested. Don't get so hyped up, spirituality should be fun instead of a torturous journey pushing u agaisnt your will and reason. do what you have faith in . Good luck.

Try going back to your childhood and re-living an experience that made you feel happy, comforted, protected...look at your world today through your eyes of innocence and you will find that your spirit guide is within you...for it is "through the eyes of a child that you will see God".

your spirit guide will usually be an animal. and it always changes, if you need wisdom it will be an eagle courage will be a lion etc. depends on your current situation. you need to meditate to find your guide. projection is a whole other process.

I would suggest to pass up the spirit guide and talk directly to God.
This is all about Faith --which is mandated by the belief in things we can't see nor understand.
