Here's what I did for my Mama -

Couple weeks before her birthday, I started thinking of silly, stupid, embarrassing or loving things that either I did or she did...

and wrote down all the memories with each starting with...

"Mama, I knew you loved me when...." [then fill in the memory]

example

or

Just loving thoughtful memories of things she has done for you
over the years. I then took the memories and put them under pictures of My Mom that I had of her over the years and made a book for her.

She started crying, so I know she loved it even before she
told me.

It is personal and something special made from you from the
heart.

Much better than a shirt or dust collector that she doesn't need.

Good Luck and Happy Birthday to Mom.

ok, for starters, rather of a typical birthday card, get her a sympathy card, you be attentive to like those for funerals. while my daughter grew to become 30 I have been given her one and it substitute into hilarious. as far as a present is going, your mom does sound problematical to purchase for, yet, get her something that she could on no account assume. Does she like unique issues? Does she carry at the same time something? Do you have any bros and sis? if so, possibly you may get a style of photos of the kinfolk and get a great length physique and make a school. My different daughter did that for me for fathers day. do exactly your ultimate, think of out of the container and circulate from there. stable success.

Arrange a Photo, you and Mom and siblings if you have them. Then take Mom out to dinner.

At dinner tell her stories from your past that will make her laugh. Enjoy the time you share.

It is nice, I think, that you cared enough to ask this question. Your Mom raised a good kid.

You... most moms enjoying just having their kids give them there time. A lot of times we kids get so busy that we "forget" about our parents. Plan a day with the two of you... a spa treatment, lunch or a drive to someplace different. Giving a little of your time would be invaluable!

If you have siblings get a professional pick of all of you taken and framed. A spa day, a piece of jewelary with her birth stone, a photo album consisting of pics of her life from birth till now...

Good luck!

Maybe a day being pampered. I think any woman would appreciate that! With her being a 50 year old mom, she's done her share of pampering, so now it's her turn!
