Well we've both been crushing on each other for 2 weeks now. She was going to winter formal with her friend who is also a girl. So I was going to go with friends too without a date. And ask her for a slow dance. Then give her a note telling her my feelings for her after the dance was over...

Well problem is another guy just entered the picture. Isn't that nice? I believe in the quote "All is fair, love is war" but now I'm wondering. Is she slowly getting over me? She's just started waving at me down the halls again and smiling at me at school. But I mean... ****... She's also given this guy her number and they started talking so what the hell. What do I do? Man...

I've talked to her at school so far but not over the phone. I think it's apparent that he's winning this right now. Should I try a little harder and make more communication or do girls not get over a crush in a matter of 2 weeks?

I don't know, like today she sent me a message saying " I didn't see you today "

Well to put it more bluntly, its either you or him, and I think you'd much prefer it to be you thats going out with her.

At this early stage, she is probably still 'considering her options'.
If you're gonna sit around and watch this guy take your woman away, then you will lose her.
You should try be a bit more assertive and hint that you are interested in her a bit more, because if you don't make a move now, you will definately regret it later on.
Ask her out for lunch or coffee after school or something, so you can talk to her more.
You could find out your common interests and you would be able to win her heart.
Give her reasons not to be with the other guy, but whatever you do, don't just stand there and do nothing!

First of all, how do you know she was "crushing" on you?

If you are still certain that she was crushing on you...
1. Everyone is terrified of making the first move/ getting hurt, but if you don't make a move soon you'll lose your opportunity
2. Get her number!
3. Rarely is anything "too sappy" for a girl. When she texts you with "I didn't see you today", respond with something cute like..."I'm sorry I missed seeing your beautiful face" or something equally as sappy to let her know you're into her/ want something to develop between you two.

I agree with "sWe3tVaNgUrL17"

Sounds like she is still interested.

If YOU are interested in her, go for it! Don't be shy, try harder make more communication :)

While some girls can get over a crush in 2 weeks, I don't think this is the case at all. ESPECIALLY with that note: "I didn't see you today" sounds like she is still definitely interested.

She could just be friends with this "other" guy, and is waiting and hoping for you to make more of a move. Girls like to be perused, it's more old fashioned.

If you don't go for it you'll never know.

[And a side note... always be chivalrous ...Girls like it when you open doors for them, and the like ;) ]

well here's the thing, girls dont just get over their crushes in two weeks. i think that u should try harder to get her attention and let her know little by little how you feel about her. and i'm sure that she will let you know how she truly feels about u too. and by that i mean it in a good way. and i know that now there is a competition for u but dont give up and be the best you know u can be to show her that ur the man she's looking for. trust me, u never know til u try... ben there and done that and now i'm going to marry that person in just a few months.

Of course she likes you! But she doesn't have to make the major move for you two to be together. Girls sometimes loves the chase. If you have been "crushing" for two weeks now and you haven't made a move yet, then I think your girl decided to make things happen for herself. Since you're a little bit slow, she might have decided to make you a bit jealous to see if what you have is just a fling or something real is going to happen. Flirting (or crushing - as you termed it) is just flirting... unless you turn it to something real.

no girls do not get over a crush in 2 weeks. trust me. she still likes you but she is having mixed feelings. she likes 2 people at the same time and that is difficult for a person. it happens to everyone sometime in their life. that was really sweet what you did. that made her feel good about herself and made her have like a thousand butterflies. just do what you are doing. she will prolly choose you because you did a good thing. lots of girls like that. dont worry yourself to death. just chill. i know that seems difficult when you love some one so much but relax and let fate grasp your problem at hand. its the only thing you can do.

love is undeniable

2 weeks is a tiny little blip on the map. Just relax. Focus on spending time with her because you enjoy her company rather than obsessing with these "feelings". Getting all mixed up with "feelings" just creates pressure and causes chicks to freak out if you move too quickly. The future will take care of itself and you're more likely to have a positive outcome if you keep it cool and have fun with her. Good luck!

start being more available if you really like her show her ask her out. and if she goes then you can keep up .women are alot of high maintaince if it is worth it for you. then go for it.send her little sweet notes. a small token here and there. get in there man. the ball is in your court. now the fight may have started, like her talkiing to this other guy but the war has not been won. meaning she still talks to you. hurry up tic toc .get your girl.

She's just keeping her options open. Call her but don't seem too pathetic. Girls DO NOT want a boy that's whipped over them. It's fun and flattering but it gets old real fast. This does not mean you have to be a bad boy. Just have fun with the situation, tease her a little and she'll come hunting you.

Booo ! You are not going to win a lof of girls with that "Shall I go or Shall I not" attitude . Apparently this one has seen clear in you and she has a little fun with you when she says she did not see you the day before... Dont let women play like this with your feelings or you will be a fool all your life !!!
