I'm not sure of your question..... but there are volumes of good spiritual poetry available.... I enjoy some of the older poets. If you go to http://www.ccel.org/ccel/bevan/tersteegen.toc.html or just http://www.ccel.org you can read a bunch.... many of the older poems were to music - that's where the hymns came from!
