Pieter Cornelisz van Rijck (1568-1628). Painted kitchen still lifes in the manner of Pieter Aertsen (c.1507-1575). Born on the south side of Kloksteeg, he was pupil of Hubrecht Jacobsz. Grimani and he also received two months of drawing lessons from J.W. Delff. Van Rijck joined his master Huybrecht Jacobz Grimani on his long Italian sojourn.
