I miss my boyfriend so much! We are in a LDR and only see each other about every week and a half. And we haven't dated that long but we were friends before. I think about him all the time and I want to call him and email him but I don't want to look desperate. We haven't really gotten into a pattern of calling and stuff. It seems like he's busy because he doesn't email me very often or call, yet I know he has feelings for me. I don't know if he's trying to play it cool or if he is just busy or what. Will I look desperate if I call to chat and email him? I don't want to look desperate but I miss him so much!!

calling once a week and emailing twice a week is reasonable.

In my opinion, I think you should give him a call, doesn't mean that you are desperate because you miss him, but you can avoid that look by acting a bit more casual in the call.
Just by asking him how his day was, and what hes been doing lately can put you more at ease and also not make you look desperate. Try and analyse how he reacts to the call, as in, whether he is shocked and glad that you called, or hes just like 'yea whatever'.
If he emailed back, it means that he does care, and he is also thinking about you also. But talking to each other is better then not talking!

He's your boyfriend!! You have a right to call him to just chat it up. If he is too busy to talk, then he should be nice enough to tell his girlfriend politely that he cant talk and will call you back later. You wont look desperate! You want your man!! Call him! And if he is always just "too busy" then he is not the one for you. Try calling him and if he says he is too busy again or something- you can make the decision on what to do. Good luck! =)

Wait Be Patient Believe Me it pays off. Control your thought because your emotions are ruled by them. Don't React Wait ! When He calls make sure you Remind Him How much you miss him and Love Him , Now Just watch a Good Movie ! I am sure he is thinking about you too, but is waiting for the right time to call .

You have to say and show how you feel. He might not necessarily take it for desperation but for love. Even if he took it for desperation what difference does it make if you know you're only in love and not desperate. This life is too short, show him you love him when you still can.

hey girl i think that u should just tell him how u feel and see if he feels the same way about you and if he does he will show it but there is nothin wrong with showing him how u feel if u wont to call him go ahead just do what ever u feel is right and he will follow along...........but if he gets to the point were he dont call u or email u just let him go

i think that as long as you keep your emails lighthearted, you should be fine. you said you were friends. talk to him about friend things. don't make him think that you are stalking him. i think that you are just over thinking things. that's what tends to make things weird. play it coy. don't send him i love you emails. send him funny stories from your day or share funny emails. he'll reply once in awhile. guys don't tend to be very attentive.
