Registered Nurse here; If you have had a high pitch whine for 21 years, you know it's not fatal, you know it is not going to hurt you. What you probably actually have is tinnitus, a very common annoying ringing in the ears, usually from some type of trauma, such as loud noises, loud music, and some medications such as aspirin can cause this. The only relation I can think of being saved is that when you if you were submerged in water, somehow something in your ear was damaged. Your blood pressure is excellent, you weight and height. But if you are concerned I would recommend an ear, eyes, nose and throat physician. They deal with these issues daily. Thanks for the opportunity to address your question.

It is called tinnitis. I have had it for years - well about 15. I used to power walk with my walkman and my Madonna tape almost as high as it would go. My doctor tells me that the fluid in my inner ear has dried up - don't know what high music has to do with that!! But it means that sound is not longer being conducted properly. It could lead to deafness, but most likely will just keep ringing. I sleep with the whirr of a fan in the background and I can't hear the ringing. Some people use soft music on a radio. There is a device you can get called a "tinnitis buster" I think that's what it is. Have been meaning to talk to my doctor about it. But it doesn't bother me all that much. Used to it now!!

There are two things this could be. a) Most probable, do you listen to an MP3 player with the volume turned up really high? If so it could be that, I got something similar to what you're describing one day and I just let my ears rest for a short while, no music etc. The Buzzing went away, but now every time I listen to music I get it for short periods of time. Stay away from your Earphones for a while and it should clear up. b)Maybe there is a small gnat or something, if it continues for more than two days, go see your doctor. Hope I helped! x

It sounds like Tinnitus (ringing in the ear), which is a condition in which there is little relief, especailly if it is constant. It is generally caused by aspirin. There is a support group for this, Dick Van Dyke used to be the spokesperson for it and I believe that it can be found online.
Why it began when you got saved; I don't know. Maybe Satan is trying to drive you crazy and make you renounce God.
Maybe, if you were submersed, you got water in your ear. This pressure can hurt or be annoying, anyway once it came out maybe you were just more sensitive about your ears and hearing and just began to notice it or perhaps there was some damage.
It is very annoying. I get it upon occasion but if you are still concerned, see a doctor!

Me too! It's called tinnitus... ringing in the ears. Mine was probably caused by dancing too close to the speakers in night clubs every weekend, and from riding a motorcycle without a helmet for many years, and working around jet engines for 4 years - occasionally without ear-plugs.

You went 21 yrs not worrying about the ringing in your ears but now are all of a sudden worried? It indicates you are slowly losing hearing but after 21yrs of damage why worry about it now?

I had swimmers ear that lasted for months. I had to bug my parents about it & they procastinated until i told them about the constant ringing in my ears. Thay finally took me to the doctor a couple weeks ago, but I still only got one of my ears cleared. Still you should talk to your doctor about it. Have him look in your ears. Heck, the problem could just be a buildup of wax. Thats what it was for me... partially.

Yes you should be very concerned about it. Ringing in the ears may lead to deafness, it may also be able to be fixed if you go and see a Dr.
