The ancient egyptians were a very advanced society that recorded their lifes in detail using hieroglyphics. In all the hieroglyphics found there was NO record of enslaving Jews, let alone enslaving them for hundredes of years. Another stange Christians myth. Im see a pattern here, are you?

Take a few things into account here:

Even though the Egyptians were as meticulous at record keeping as the Romans, history is written by the victor. It is possible (notice I didn't say likely) that they struck any mention of the Hebrew enslavement from their records, as a way to prevent showing a failure.

With that said, the Egyptian slavery myth tends to fall into the same category as almost every story in the bible...unverifiable through archaeological evidence. There isn't any archaeological support to the claims of Hebrew slaves, nor a 40 year exodus through the desert.

basically in accordance to the Bible have been they ever enslaved, yet there is not any different historic evidence that shows such. The Egyptians wrote down plenty of their history, even areas they does not prefer to be cited, so that's greater desirable than slightly beautiful that they in no way stated enslaving the Jews.

The bondage and freedom from Isreal is a huge part of the Jewish culture, religion and tradition. Do you know any Jews that agree with this?

Of course Egyptians say it didnt happen....3000 years from now you think Germans wont deny the Nazi movement??

I'm sure this was a Christian myth, started 5000 years before Christianity. It was a huge scam passed on for 900 or so generations....youre right.

WOW

That is not surprising. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, and other nations were not in the habit of recording failures or defeats. However, when they were victorious, they often exagerated the out come. So it is not a surprise that there is no record that the Jews were enslaved in Egypt and then released because of pressure from the God of the Hebrews.

Egypt difinately had slaves and they were referred to as slaves.
They were (then) Jewish people.

As a way of "bragging" about their slaves, there are 18th dynasty wall-painting insciptions in Egyptian tombs which show such Semitic slaves from Canaan (the home-land of the Hebrews) making bricks out of mud and straw, with stick-wielding taskmasters forcing them to work --and the biblical account states the very same thing: The Hebrews labored as slaves in the making of "bricks" out of mud and straw. Such inscriptions are found in the tomb of Rekhmire, who was the vizier of pharaoh Thutmose III in the mid-1400s BC. --Professor Hoffmeier adds, "It is worth noting, that the practice of using forced labor for building projects is only documented for the period 1450 to 1200, the very time most biblical historians place the Israelites in Egypt."
--Thus, it so happens that at the time the Hebrews would have been enslaved, there are actually Egyptian inscriptions to verify the fact.

LOL- in all the hieroglyphics- think they would admit it- and there is evidence of the plagues- and the red sea parting- when they got away from the egyptians- check out some history of the jewish people-even the discovery and history channels- and the pharoah of that time-they lost their slaves- who did their hieroglyphics-they lost the laborers=D

Ruins in souther Greece have heiroglyphs similar to egyptian make, and also show the "story" of the exodus and defeat of the Egyptian army. The dating of the glyphs matches the hebrew and christain timeline for exodus. Look into it. The discovery channel and the history channel both ran specials on it this year.

In fact, in all the findings of ancient egypt, only *ONE* reference has so far been found that MIGHT relate to the semitic culture. There is an obscure reference to a large group of herders who passed through an outlying province, and it recorded that the herders called themselves 'aybrw'.

That's it. That's the one sole single reference EVER found in ALL of egypt to the semitic culture, and even then it's questionable.
