It best to forgive- if you do you will find peace you will find you like yourself more and you will graduate in to loving your fellow human beings
Take revenge to guide any wrong doer- you will fuel your anger and you will feel miserable and the opposite of everything I have said above

If you are human, no matter what your religious viewpoints are, I feel it is better to forgive.

Carrying resentment and hate with you is tough, as well as it lingers in you and becomes very rotten and ugly. Sure enough, you spit it out at the WRONG person (not even the one who harmed you) and now you have 3 enemies....the original person who hurt you, the person you blew up at and yourself for being an idiot makes you feel guilt.

Its an obvious answer. Revenge and hate are just manifestations of the fact that you are not a big enough person to overcome much of anything.

Thanks for the good Q

David

To forgive. Aside from anything religious, it makes a person feel better than revenge does. Revenge just makes you crazy.

It is better to forgive. God says that vengeance is mine saith the Lord. He is the one who will take care of the wrong. He will not forgive us, if we can't forgive others. When people mean things for evil, God means it for good. We can be a witness for Him, by forgiving others.

"vengence is mine saith the Lord". We are called to forgive as Christ forgave. But this does not mean that sin is ignored or dismissed. And this does not mean that we do not conduct our lives with great attention to the holiness and righteousness of God.

To worship me ,take wine and strange drugs;and be drunk thereof. Fear not that any God shall deny thee for this. There is no God where I am,there is only ecstacy and the dissolution in Nuit. For I am a Coiled Serpent and in my coilings there is joy.In my right hand I hold the double-wand of power, the word ABRAHADABRA and my left hand is empty.....for I have crushed an Universe.
