How long doesit take for points to show upon your credit score?

Your credit info is updated monthly by "tapes" sent by the credit card companies. Therefore, your points dont update automatically. If you inquire they can change right away. Your payments have to post to the credit co's to show paid off etc...it updates monthly.

Instantly - each time a request for your credit score is asked for, it is recalculated. However, the request itself negatively impacts your score, so don't get it requested too often.
