1. Credit score will improve but by how much depends on what else is on your credit too.

2. That depends on the bank you are talking to. Some banks can do things that others cannot.

I know a lot of banks. What are you trying to do?

The Algorithms that Fair Isaac uses are too sophisticated to give you a pat answer to that question - there are sufficient criteria that shift, so that action may cause your score to remain flat, go up or go down, depending on other circumstances. The repo weighs heavy on you no matter what.
