yeah, she most likly is pregnant. Normally another two tell tale signs are a rise in your dogs body temperature and some dogs swell around the teat area. The milk and bedding deffinatly suggests that her body is getting ready for pups.
Good Luck!!

If she got pregnant on Oct 27, then she would only be about 3 1/2 weeks along and she would not be nesting or making milk already. Sounds like a false prenancy. I have been raising chihuahuas for over 8 years and have a lot of experience with dogs having babies and also with false pregnancies. Most of the other people replying have no idea what it is all about. Is the date Oct 27 correct or would it be Spet 27? If it was Sept 27, that would be about the right time for her to be making milk and nesting if she is indeed pregnant.

Confirming pregnancy necessitates a trip to the veterinary office. The earliest method of pregnancy detection is ultrasound—a nice test because it is noninvasive and very reliable. Fetal heartbeats can be detected at around the 25th day from first breeding. Most experienced veterinarians can determine pregnancy by simply feeling the dog’s abdomen during a certain a window of time—about 20-30 days after conception. www.pets.ca
If you suspect your dog is pregnant, please take her to the veterinarian's for a check-up. The veterinarian can palpate her abdomen, to feel for pups,or ultrasounds can be taken. If your dog is pregnant, she'll need prenatal care, and need to be free of infectious diseases. There are many things that can go wrong with a pregnancy, so please do not leave things to chance.
