Here's the long and short of it:

A few years ago I became great friends with one of my co-workers.
He got married, and I started hanging out with him and his wife. She had a best friend who was away at college but about to graduate. After our first meeting I really began to like her. Not so much and infatuation, but just really taken by her.
She graduated college and moved home that summer. We talked and they tried and tried to hook us up.
The only time my true feelings came out was when I got drunk but other then that I was too scared to mess up the friendship.

When she gets drunk she really seems to like me too.

I just don't get why we aren't together after months of supposedly liking eachother. I've put other potential lady friends on the back burner because of this and I feel like it's hurting my love life.

I really feel like she might be the one but it seems that she may not want to be with me but doesn't want me with anyone else.

Should I just give up? HELP!

In the given facts you both are honest when drunk. Well that is cause you are both shy. Don't you think that if you are too shy to be honest when not drunk, she might feel the same?? Go and talk to her, tell her how you feel...cause at least then you will either be going stronger in an open relationship with her or at least move on with your love life with someone else. Remember just be honest and true to her and yourself. Best of luck - hope it works for the best.

You aren't together because, like you said, you were too scared to mess up the friendship. What gives man? I would just go for it. Look at your past relationships and opportunities. Is it worth losing her? How do you know you will always be friends forever? If you stay 'just friends', will you not be jeolous when she finds someone else?

If you're really scared to screw up your friendship, then just think about it this way; by screwing up your friendship you're not only giving yourself a chance to be with her, you're also gaining experience with women. Besides, nothing lasts forever, your friendship would come to an end at sometime anyways. Just calm down, stop analyzing things and go with your instincts.

Have you guys hung out with one another when not drinking? If so, stop putting pressure on yourself and view her as you would any of your other friends. Talk as freely with her about things that interest you, and tell yourself to "stop it" if your anxiety level rises when conversing with her. Just remember that you have friends who enjoy being around you, and if she doesn't, then it is her problem, not yours. It just seems to me that the two of you may have similar feelings, but are too nervous to express them when sober. Just give her a compliment sometime when conversation is going well between the two of you (tell her she's funny or you like spending time with her), and ask her if she wants to go for coffee, etc. Good luck!

Ok, how much time do you have on your hands and how much time have you wasted on this girl? Step it up and tell her you like her or move on. The "might scenario" is seriously wasting precious time that you could be devoting to more productive aspects.

Neither one of you should have to be drunk to have a normal attraction to one another.

Yes you have to give up.
Fisrt imp reson is because SHE IS MARRIED!!

how can you love some one who is already someone else's life partner.

She also might be just sttracted to you which will finish of if you just ignore her or treat her just as you friend's wife.

Please stop thinking about her.Better fo her as well as your life.
all d best

Don't live in what if land?
Tell her your feelings, if she likes you too, then great. If not, the friendship may have been in jeopardy anyways because you may resent her in the future for hurting your love life.
GO FOR IT!
