Why don't you just ask them?

Scooters for all 3...

8 year old: small CD player with music CD of his choice
remote control car or truck plus batteries
Hot Wheels track (even a small set, eg. $14)
Webkinz (tiger, polar bear, hippo, grizzly bear)
tamagochi

6 year old: Barbie (Costco has a Barbie, outfit and furniture set for under $20)
interactive, "growing" doll or baby doll
sparkly dress/skirt/top
hair accessories from dollar store
Webkinz (cat, chihuaha, etc.)
tamagochi
Littlest Pet Shops

4 year old boy:
Hot Wheels! eg. set of 20 (Toys R Us about $21)
Rubber mat with picture of roads, highways, buildings, city, etc. (I got one at Home Depot a couple of years ago, and my son still loves it. Can't remember, not that expensive. Rolls up.)
Webkinz (dog, polar bear)
Fire truck, dump truck...
Littlest Pet Shops

Merry Christmas! (I'm doing the same kind of research.)

i'm always giving gifts to my brothers and sisters so...i'd get your 8yr old son a toy(like a remote control car) and your daughter....usually i'd give a stuff toy but i think a doll or a pillow will do.. and to your 4 yr old son...since he's still to young maybe a toy sword or robot will do...but if you're not into shopping i'd suggets giving them all pillows

by the way...advance MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! hope this helps you

Get a catalog and let the kids show you several things they would like to have and then you have a selection to choose from.
If you go to Walmart.com, you can get ideas on things for children of all ages.

I don't know if you go shopping the day after Thanksgiving but they have something for everyone. go to www.walmart.com and have a look at their paper for the sale on Friday and I guarantee you will find something for all of them on Friday.
