Firstly Craminato & Robby B need educating in English grammar, there is nothing wrong in the way you posed your question.
As for the yobs, they wear these ASBO"s as a badge of honour.
Many of the restrictions imposed are breached with impunity
I would suggest there is only one way to deal with this problem and it involves a great deal of humiliation and pain.
Public flogging, see the "hard men" in our society crying in public through shear pain and humiliation.
See how this would effect their "street cred"
I bet they wouldn"t be so quick to offend again.
Sod the human rights lobby, lets start getting tough.

I don't think so .
If I were a kid then I would probably just laugh at the thought of an ASBO and would just double my efforts at not getting caught.
Seriously though if you want to try to calm the kids down then we need a whole rethink coming from the very top of government as this is going to mean creating places for troubled youngsters to live in the more affluent areas which don't have trouble to try and readdress the balance. This of course will cause a stink when the press get hold of it and could escalate the problem, so would need to be censored as not to glorify the youths involved.
As for National Service, I feel this would be good for a few but do you really want them trained in un/armed combat, stealth techniques, ab-sailing/rock climbing etc, when this could be of benefit to career minded criminals.

Bring back national service. Ask any old soldiers what it did for them. I did 2 years in the 50s and would not have missed it for anything. There was a saying by the sergean major " you broke UR mothers heart but U won't break mine!!!!!!. U could not beat the forces system as no doubt old soldiers will agree.

YES, yes and yes. If there not enough police and prisons and systems to handle petty crime then National service is a good idea. Actually even if there were enough police and court time and prisons I still thinks its a good idea to teach discipline and give them something constructive to do.
Look at New York the mayor (sorry forgot his name) started with low level crimes, put more police on the street and eventually reduced the murder rate. Everyone has a lot to learn from them.

Maybe sterilise them all so as to prevent continuous breeding.. Or line them all up and just shoot them.. The sensible one would be to enforce harsher penalties for certain minor crimes: take graffitti or drinking in public (which is illegal, and so many yobs/chavs do it). If the police were given more power to not only confiscate but charge the offenders with something too, then that'd be good. And yes, it would stretch the already under-manned police force even more, but introducing fines as the punishment for more minor crimes would pay for more officers anyway.
My favourite idea is to introduce National Service as a punishment.. Imagine being community haters and trouble makers one minute, then being sent off to Iraq etc to fight for the same country that they caused havoc to. Brilliant. That'd stop a lot of them. They're all cowards anyway, and the thought of being in real, serious danger might be enough to deter them!

3 years national service.....the first year as punishment for their misdeeds,(in the company of psychopathic little corporals),the second year in training for a worthwhile- decently paid job in "civvy street",the third year reserved for the hardcore amongst them that revert to type and go back to their ASBO badges(this time in the company of psychopathic big sergeants). Starting at 17 years of age, this COULD work in this country,if it were not for the Lilly-livered politicians, the mockery of a justice system we have, and the do gooders fond of spouting human rights.Oh,and i forgot the mummy's and daddy's who don't want little johnny to get hurt.

Can't personally see anything wrong with the way you've phrased your question!!!???
Anyway, bring back National Service for the little buggers. Seriously. They don't have to actually fight, or anything, but two years of doing press-ups in the rain will sort them out.
Good question, actually.
