I've been hearing a lot about how Rangel wants to get the draft re-instated. My question is this....I was born disabled, unable to walk and I'm confined to a wheelchair. Could someone in my condition be drafted, or am I physically unable?

Disability leaves me unable to walk at all.

No, Anyone with a Physical or Mental Disability will not be drafted. In order to serve in the military, an individual must pass a medical exam at their closest Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

One of two senarios exist! You either bleed red, white, and blue from within and love your country (wishing to answer the call), or your a stupid coward. I'm hoping it's the first one, and you're just young, but unfortunately, the U.S.A. allows cowards to hide behind its borders. Regardless of who you are, and this goes for everyone else out there, stand up for your country, humanity, or even human rights. You all think you're making a difference screaming and shouting at your antiwar protests. Well, you are! In reality, you're demonstrating what the American Soldier has done for you and is doing for others. You have freedom of speech and the right to practice whichever religion you choose. Did Iraq? Here's another one for all you ladies! Do you enjoy voting? Someone took a stand for you many years ago, and now, someone took one for women halfway around the world. Stop your bitching unless you're willing to get off your fat asses and do something about it.

Your fine. If Bush hasn't enforced a draft before now, like when we first went to war then I wouldn't worry. They also can't draft you if you have flat feet.
