i have got a residence visa in dubai since im working there, im from india, i heared that once i quit the job my residence visa and work permit will be cancelled and i have to return to india, i just want to know if i get another job in dubai or canada can i switch my job without coming to india, becoz i heared going to canada from dubai is easier when compared flying from india to canada. i know if i have residence visa i can travel to many countries with tourist visa but for work permits. .?. pls do answer me. . thnx

Are you looking a residence visa for Dubai or Canada? If you have an existing visa of Dubai, you should complete a minimum period of one year with your current sponsor to find out another job/sponsor for visa transfer, according to UAE immigration law. Also all categories will not be allowed to transfer, only for professionals. For this practice you don't have to exit and re-entry. The other issue is Canadian visa; I also heard that it would be much easier to get the visa from Dubai than India. The formalities are less.
