I would wear a sarong for pool or beach wear..
This would mean i have a bathing suit underneath.
if changing out of wet bathers and just getting in the car..
I don't see a problem being naked underneath.
Although walking down a street might not be ideal..
but that would also depend on the material used and if its wet is it see though. If its really short.. If i feel safe in my surroundings.
So maybe not down the street.
Around the house is ok, i walk naked around my home, i know im safe and know that no one can see me, so i don't see a problem with a sarong and nothing underneath at home.

The main reason one wears a sarong is so he doesn't need to wear underwear.

Personally I would wear nothing at all underneath one. Especially if you think someone wants to see whats underneath it! hehehe
