I need help with a poem?

there is a poem, somewhere that says something like this: if you love him set him free ,if he comes back its meant to be? Or something to that effect.Does any know the whole poem.

It's not really a poem but it goes like this

"If you love something set it free. If it comes back it's yours. If not, it never was"

I am not sure of the whole poem, but it goes " If you love something let it go, and if it comes back to you then it's yours!"
