Most clubs only allow 18 years and up. If not, it should be,by that age a person should be informed enough to make good choices in the gym.

contact the gym-the age can vary depending on what you are planning to do....for instance if you are a young athlete and looking to "build muscle" most gyms will consider a 13-14 yo who is working out with an adult trainer. If you are younger and overweight and really looking to use the "cardio" portion of the gym it can be as young as ten, again with a trainer or adult...

I would call your local gym. Just to work out like on the treadmills or something like that, I believe you have to be 13 and be supervised and an adult. But if you are talking younger, a lot of gyms offer kids classes.

12 is the youngest. u should start with light weight. u start working out for real at 15, if your height is ok. if u re short u better still continue with light weight(light weight - weight with wich u can make 20 repetitions till u drop dead, heavy weight - 4 repetitions till u re completely excausted)

my personal advice is not look at the requuirements, but look at the gym themselves, theres always oldies....there whouldnt be a age requirement, but a age limit...
