Try having a bone sticking out of your leg and see if you need immediate attention!!!! You don't seem too concerned or you would have already took the cat to the vet. Get off your lazy butt and take him.

Sounds like your cat got into more than just a fight - you seriously need to call a vet and make sure you call the emergency number - it is instinct for cats not to cry when hurting really bad because in the wild it would call up predators who could easily take them when they are already hurt - even though he is not crying HE IS DEFINITELY IN TERRIBLE PAIN- as far as the blood email me tomorrow and I will tell you how to get it out - but for right now worry about the cat

an exposed bone is a bad thing. An infection could develope. I would not leave this go for very long. Your cat could be come very ill from infection. I would get it to the vet ASAP! That leg may need to be amputated.

Your Carpet?
Yes your cat needs immediate attention!!!!! He has a compound fracture and if not taken care of quickly infection can set in both the tissues and the bone. If that was your kid would you be on this site asking that question?
Cats and dogs don't always react to pain the way we think they should. Just because your cat isn't crying doesn't mean he isn't in pain. Please Please take him to the vet.

That's pretty weird that he's not crying. Its amazing that he came back after the fight at all when cats are scared they usually hide. He really needs to be seen by a vet. Good Luck!!!!!!
