Nowdays both are equally good because if you look at the nature of job they are involved like most of engineers are girls/ladies, and most of the chefs are boys/mans, even most of the famous tailors are guys including fashion designer.
Even in school examination you cant rate both of them down, as you see those who studied well performs well. So if you ask me, its not mans or ladies, but who take the opportunity well.

Are you aware of the saying men are from Mars and women from Venus? Roles of men and women are not fulfilled without each other.Hence no one is best. Both men and women depend on each other.
