When I catch cold, it gets me about 3-4 days to get rid of the extra ordinary voice I get. It really depresses me. What will help me get my good voice back faster? Other than what docs prescribe!

If you also have a sore throat this will NOT work.
But if it's just hoarsness then LEMON juice is the best thing
there is.
It's an old english remedy my grandma used on us kids, and it
worked every time.
The juice of (1) fresh squeezed lemon
will quickly clear up the problem, just sip on it as best you can..
Of course it's very sour, but it's worth the benefits..
Do this each day until you're well..
But usually gives great results the first or second time..

Not sure if you've ever tried Cold-Ease or any other herbal lozenge containing zinc. These usually help fight the illness and help with the swelling in the throat which causes a change in voice pitch. Good luck.
