BREWING TEA
Brewing tea is an art that is not as simple as it seems. The process of boiling the ingredients in water determines the flavour and aroma of the tea. While readymade tea leaves are brewed by adding boiling water to the dry leaves, the quantity of leaves, the temperature of the water and timing is of vital concern.
• Warm the teapot and pour some warm water into it. Add the tea leaves to the water and see that the leaves settle at the bottom.
• Keep it aside for sometime, so that the tea is mixed well with the water.
• Remember, smaller the tea leaves, lesser the time for brewing. The smaller leaves should be brewed for three to four minutes
• Do not brew for more than six minutes as that can make the tea too strong
• And finally, don't assume that the tea will turn a particular shade once brewed
• Add sugar and milk as per your preference.
