Kermit the Frog is the host of the Muppets and a singer. I would consider him more of an entertainer than a comedian. Michigan J. Frog is a singer and vaudeville performer.
You could possibly argue that they were doing comedy but neither is a comedian per se. If pressed, I would press for Kermit.
