I was on the depo but didn't go back and get my next one in august '06'. Nov 8 my breast got sore and my period came but I only spotted for 3 days. Is this normal, are could I be pregnant?

It is "normal" to have an irregular period even six months after stopping the depo shot. However, although it could be normal, there is obviously still a chance you could be pregnant.

That is typical of people who are on depo and also when they stop depo. The shot just screws up your period altogether. I've been off the shot for about 3 months now and my period are just spotting for a few days too. I'd say count your blessings your period is light and doesn't last long.

2 weeks after I had my son in June, I had a depo shot forced upon me.. I havent been normal with anything, since... I bleed for like 7 days, then stop for 4, then bleed again.. I am considering an IUD..Something to put some regularity to me.. It made me completely physically ill.. I will never consider a Depo shot ever again

Yes, it does sound like maybe you could be pregnant, but getting off the shot also make you irregular. I used the shot for a long time and when I stopped taking it, it took my body several months before I became regular again.

So it is one of those things. If you think you might be pregnant, it never hurts to get a pregnancy test and find out for sure. Good Luck.

Depo is a TERRIBLE product and doctors who push it on new mothers should be forced to use it themselves!
Count your blessings that you are NOT bleeding. I bled for 2.5 years after I stopped getting the shot. It was the worst time of my life. Talk about miserable.

Could be pregnant ALWAYS if you are having sex.

Also you could be still adjusting to the hormones.
