It could be any number of things from menneires disease to blood pressure problems or any other things. This is something a doctor needs to check out and dizziness is a symptom of too many things for anyone here to even try to guess what might be going on. See your doc and get checked. Also next time you have a problem do not let it go unchecked for a month as the sooner you get things checked the easier it is to treat it and less damage may be done if something is caught earlier.

nenarmz is correct. A day or two can be normal at times but a month is too long. The alternative (though you probably don't want to hear it) to an ear or sinus infection causing congestion in the ear canal is a buildup of wax in the canal. Wax buildup can effectively block the canal and if this is the case, there is no way to equalize the pressure.
Either way, it's probably best to see a physician. It's not uncommon but left alone, can become more serious (and possibly more painful).
Good luck.

1. low or high blood sugar- get a glucose test from your doc.
2. How's your vision during the dizziness? if you have trouble seeing, get to a doc asap- at the very least you need glasses, or an eye glass change, at the worse - brain tumor which you want to catch as soon as possible.
3. Dehydration-if you have been dieting and exercising hard, you can be in a constant state of dehydration which is very unhealthy, can lead to kidney and heart problems--It's been a month-- call a doc --- yahoo cannot answer this --- it could be serious. Oh and dont forget pregnancy.

Do you get dizzy when you stand up? I believe this is caused by low blood pressure. I do know that if you get dizzy when you stand from a seated position, eating something should relieve the dizziness. Otherwise, get checked out at the doctor if it's been happening for a month.

Wait do not preach the pro life choice here. Some people have no choice but to have an abortion. Sometimes because the baby has a medical condition or the person just cant cope with raising a baby. I got pregnant at 21 while on the pill and I had an abuser for a boyfriend so I had an abortion and my doc said I did the right thing. My parents had no idea and if they found out I would of been kicked out of the house if they knew I was pregnand and not working also. It is only her business why she had it done and she did not put a questions on here just to be judged

Assuming you don't have HBP, which can cause dizziness.
And assuming you don't have a neurological problem (pinched
or trapped nerves), then I'd venture to guess you have fluid in
the inner ear, and it doesn't have to be in both ears to make you
dizzy.
My mother had the same problem a month ago, and I told her
the same thing I'm telling you. She went to her doc and he
confirmed what I had told her, and gave her some excercises
to do which would allow the ear to drain.
I would definately see your doc though, it could be something
more serious than fluid in the ear, but I hope not.

if you've been sick with a cold or flu sometimes the fluids go into your ear canal and creates an imbalance. you need to see your md to rule out an ear infection. if it's not this then he/she can find out what's going on

If that's your only symptom, it could be low blood pressure. Get it checked, and if that's what you have, drink lots of liquids and avoid caffeine. There's no drug to raise B/P.

Could be many reasons, but check with your doctor about an inner ear infection. I had very similar symptoms.
Also, is it possible that you are pregnant? Good luck!
